A Personal Note from the President:
Welcome to the NA2RC! We are glad that you are here.
Our mission, to support and advocate for associate degree programs, as the foundation for a respiratory care career pathway, is best served by like-minded colleagues working to improve and preserve community and technical college respiratory care programs.
Whether you are a student, new graduate, department director, seasoned practitioner or an educator, the continuation of our professional success requires the continued growth, preservation, and improvement of our associate degree programs. We invite you to join, or update your NA2RC membership, and stand with us in our advocacy for associate degree respiratory care programs.
To join or renew please click the link below. If you are interested in NA2RC service and/or leadership, please notify us on the contact link on this website.
Plans are underway for virtual webinars. Check this website for updates and registration information. NA2RC continues to monitor respiratory care demographics and changing federal regulations.
NA2RC’s efforts in support of a new accreditation body, to assure accreditation opportunities for new associate degree programs, have been fruitful. The Joint Review Committee for Respiratory Care (JRCRC) has been recognized by the Commission on Accreditation for Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), and NA2RC now serves as one of the new accrediting agencies sponsoring organizations. (Dr. Jackie Long-Goding, Executive Director, 774-573-4944, jackie@thejrcrc.org)
Thanks to Tommy Rust for his years of service as NA2RC president and for his ongoing commitment to NA2RC and associate degree entry level for respiratory care.
Highest regards,
Dr. Peggy Davis Spears, MD RRT
